Outsourcing records storage can provide cost-savings if your archives are located in high-cost office accommodation. City-based companies often store their archives remotely either in rented premises or use records storage companies to manage storage and retrieval on their behalf. This is not necessarily the best option, as commercial records centres are better suited for modern records management, and the cost of accessing documentation can prohibit proper utilisation of your archive resource.
